"Walking the Line of the Ecuator".
In the 2nd episode we travel south through Colombia's beautiful mountain country to the border with Ecuador and then on to Quito.
Along the way, we hit dirt roads, Jess becomes an aggressive lane-splitter, we visit the equator, and we learn about penis fish.
We are development aid workers who decided to take a year off and explore North and South America by motorcycle.
Jess is from Toronto, learned to ride the year before in West Africa, and now rides a 2013 BMW G650GS.
Greg is from Los Angeles, had previously completed a motorbike trip to Panama City, and rides a 2013 BMW F700GS.
The 8-month, 30,000 km trip started in Los Angeles, USA, went north to British Columbia, Canada, and then south to Santiago, Chile.
The North America segment was recorded in our blog at roughontheroad.com and this video series follows the South America route.
We hope you enjoy the sights, sounds, dirt roads, crashes, and people we met along the way! Please leave us a comment and visit us at roughontheroad.com.
